Here it is, all finished!

The trim on the sleeves (shown in detail here- [link] ) is not washable, so I made it detachable, which also means it can be switched from side to side and pinned using the bows. The jacket itself, though, should be fine with being machine washed in warm or cold water, and tossed in the dryer at low heat. The fabric has been washed and dried at high temp, so it shouldn't shrink, and all of the seams have been reinforced so that it should stand up to being worn while climbing trees and other such kid stuff.

There's a box pleat in the center back which can be taken out for growth, if need be.
