While not in line with the LotR style of things, I've always wanted to make something like this!
It's made from most of the leftover glittery and metallic Christmas floral picks from the local Jo-Ann Fabrics that were still around a few weeks ago (when it was all very, very much on sale), a few paper roses, and with a fair amount of brass wire to hold it all together.
One of these days I'll have to make a costume to match it, in all of its glorious excessive glitteriness.
This is very lovely! what a clever idea to use the christmas decorations! i never would have known if you hadn't said lol
beautiful work!

Sorry about the glitter comment. I realise now I didn't put it very well. I look at at least 20 manips a day between my various clubs. I see so many where glitter is used, and it seems that either they think "It isn't a manip if it hasn't got glitter" or they use it to hide the joins between the various elements )or worse ... to hide the lack of joining!) It's great to see shining and glitter used as an integral part of a design, where it looks as tho it belongs I hope that makes more sense now ... I was actually trying to compliment you.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
