Chemise no. 1

I'm keeping this in my scraps until I take the time to iron it and then upload a less wrinkled version.

Believe it or not, this is the smaller, less poofy of my renaissance chemises, though the other one is in current need of a bit of repair.

This is the one I wear under the simpler tie-on sleeves, or, if it's really warm, without sleeves at all. The other was made to go with sleeves like this (the girl in red)- [link] .

The construction is based on that of a surviving garment from the time period, though I did cheat and make the neckline and sleeves drawstring.
