Ten years ago, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace broke my heart. I'd been a huge fan of the old movies as a kid, and literally kept a countdown going to opening day of the movie for almost a whole year beforehand. We went to see it on opening day, cheering with everyone else in the theatre when the LucasFilm logo appeared.

Then Jar Jar Binks came on screen, and I nearly began to weep.

I went to see the second and third movies out of sheer respect and love of the old movies (and Ewan McGregor ), but that was about it.

Then, last week, my fiance picked up a copy of Knights of the Old Republic II, and the deeply buried, nearly forgotten nerdiness is back with a vengeance.

As such, my sister ~Henri-Pants and I have decided that we should both dress as Sith Lords for Halloween. It also makes a great bad pun, as we are "sith-ters". *hides*

I'll be posting pictures of the costume pieces as I make them.

I'll also have a bunch of new jewelry pics up soon, as I'm trying to get at least 50 pieces made for sale by the middle of next month... and this is all while buying a house, moving, and managing a coffee shop. At least there should be time to sleep come December!
